INVISIBLE PHOTOGRAPHER ASIA (IPA) PHOTO+ WORKSHOP | YANGON, MYANMAR
12th – 16th November 2014: 5 Days of Photography in Yangon, Myanmar. Develop your personal journey in Photography with one of IPA's intensive Photo Workshops.
Invisible Photographer Asia (IPA) was founded in 2010, and since then has grown into a leading and influential platform for Photography and Arts in Asia. Participating vigorously in the movement of Photography in Asia through talent showcases, events and exhibitions, publishing, education, and community outreach, IPA also produces and facilitates unique photography workshops in Asia, instructed by experienced photographers, artists and industry peers.
The IPA Photo+ Workshop is a unique workshop program produced by Invisible Photographer Asia for intermediate level participants who wish to develop and improve their personal vision and photography practice in an engaging, challenging yet conducive environment. Participants will explore street and documentary photography over 5 intensive days in ever-evolving Yangon City during Myanmar's wonderful post-monsoon season. Participants will work on and learn insights from project/series ideation, practical photography, visual narrative development, to self-curation and editing.
Invisible Photographer Asia is offering one Scholarship Grant to a young Myanmar photographer to participate in the IPA Photo+ Workshop Myanmar, 12th–16th November 2014, with fees waived.
The awarded scholarship grant includes workshop fees only, and does not include travel, accommodation and other costs incurred by the awarded recipient. Application is open to young, local photographers in Myanmar only. The grant is awarded based on the merits of the application and potential of the applicant’s work, at the sole discretion of IPA.
